Pocket Door With Glass For Bathroom - Just a couple of months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was closing in a bizarre angle. It was the very first time I'd ran into this type of scenario and was definitely confused. I got a torch and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had trouble discovering the issue but when I did it was apparent.
There was not any solution because it had been at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself, to reach the screw.
It was the only thing I really could think of and would require an easy wall patch and some paint to really make the repair complete. I then use some quick setting drywall plaster plus some fiberglass drywall tape to correct the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door problems are a little easier to repair than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have problems sliding and eventually are left closed, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or the door to swell keeping it from opening properly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the house over long periods of time.
