Corner Tv Armoire Pocket Doors - Just a few months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was closing in a bizarre angle. This was the first time I'd ran into this sort of situation and was undoubtedly confused. I got a flashlight and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the problem but when I did it was apparent.
The difficulty turned out to be as the door slid back into the frame the tracking would hang down at an angle in the weight of the door and the track was missing a screw in the back that was very. There is no way to attain the screw as it had been at that back of the pocket door frame near the framing itself.
This was the only real thing I would require a wall patch that is simple and could think of plus some paint to make the repair complete. This job took me to cut the hole and replaced the screw that had fallen out of the pocket door track. Then I use some fast setting drywall plaster plus some fiberglass drywall tape to fix the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door problems are a little more easy to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have problems sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or the door to swell preventing it from opening correctly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the home over long periods of time.
