Double Pocket Door Pictures - Just a few months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing at a bizarre angle. This is the very first time I had ran into this kind of scenario and was undoubtedly lost. I got a torch and began looking in the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the issue but when I did it was clear.
The bottom of the door would stick out about an inch and a half passed the door jam as the pocket door was sliding shut it works flawlessly but when you went to open it. There clearly was not any solution to attain the screw because it was at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing.
In order to repair the pocket door problem, I was really going to need to remove an excellent sized area of the plastered wall at the upper right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. This is the only thing I would require an easy wall patch and really could think of and some paint to help make the repair whole. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to mend the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have difficulties sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or the door to swell keeping it from opening correctly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the home over long amounts of time.
