Pocket Sliding Door Kit - Just a couple of months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing at a bizarre angle. It was the first time I'd ran into this type of situation and was undoubtedly lost. I got a flashlight and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had a hard time finding the problem but when I did it was noticeable.
There clearly was not any strategy since it absolutely was at that back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself to reach the screw.
To be able to correct the pocket door issue, I would need to remove a great sized area of the plastered wall at the top right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. It was the sole thing I would require a simple wall patch and really could think of and some paint to make the repair complete. I then use some fiberglass drywall tape and some fast setting drywall plaster to fix the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door problems are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have problems sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long periods of time may also cause the doorway to swell preventing it from opening correctly.
