Cabinet Pocket Door Slides - Just a few months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing at a peculiar angle. This is the very first time I'd ran into this sort of scenario and was definitely confused. I started looking inside the pocket door frame and got a flashlight. I had a hard time finding the issue but when I did it was noticeable.
There is no approach to achieve the screw as it was at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself.
In order to fix the pocket door problem, I had been going to need to remove an excellent sized area of the plastered wall at the top right hand corner of the pocket door frame. This is the sole thing I would require an easy wall patch and really could think of and some paint to really make the repair whole. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some fast setting drywall plaster to correct the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have troubles sliding and eventually are left closed, never to be used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long periods of time also can cause the doorway to swell keeping it from opening properly.
