Lace Rod Pocket Door Panel - Just a couple of months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting at a strange angle. This is the very first time I'd ran into this sort of scenario and was undoubtedly confused. I got a torch and started looking inside the pocket door frame. I had difficulty finding the problem but when I did it was clear.
There clearly was no approach to achieve the screw because it was at that very back of the pocket door frame near the framing itself.
To be able to repair the pocket door trouble, I had been going to need to remove a good sized area of the plastered wall at the top right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. This is the only thing I really could think of and would require a wall patch that is simple and some paint to really make the repair complete. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to mend the wall. This took another hour to finish the drywall properly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little easier to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have difficulties falling and eventually are left shut, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can in fact increase the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time may also make the door to swell preventing it from opening properly.
