Sliding Pocket Doors Exterior - Just a few months back I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing in a peculiar angle. It was the first time I had ran into this kind of scenario and was undoubtedly confused. I began looking within the pocket door frame and got a flashlight. I had a hard time discovering the problem but when I did it was clear.
There clearly was no approach since it had been at that back of the pocket door frame near the framing itself to reach the screw.
It was the only thing I could think of and would require a straightforward wall patch and a few paint to really make the repair complete. Then I use some fast setting drywall plaster plus some fiberglass drywall tape to correct the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little more easy to fix than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have difficulties falling and eventually are left closed, never to be used again. Painting the doors over and over again can in fact add to the depth of the door or the door to swell keeping it from opening properly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time.
