Pocket Door Track Hardware - Just a couple of months back I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing in a peculiar angle. It was the first time I'd ran into this kind of situation and was definitely confused. I got a flashlight and began looking in the pocket door frame. I had a hard time finding the issue but when I did it was clear.
There clearly was not any approach as it had been at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing, to attain the screw.
As a way to fix the pocket door trouble, I was going to need to remove a great sized area of the plastered wall in the top right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. It was the sole thing I really could think of and would require a wall patch that is simple plus some paint to help make the repair complete. I then use some fiberglass drywall tape and some fast setting drywall plaster to correct the wall. This took another hour to finish the drywall properly.
Some pocket door issues are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have issues sliding and eventually are left closed, never to be used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or the doorway to swell preventing it from opening properly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time.
