Electric Sliding Pocket Doors - Just a couple months back I went over to fix a pocket door that was shutting at a strange angle. This is the first time I'd ran into this kind of situation and was undoubtedly confused. I began looking in the pocket door frame and got a torch. I had trouble discovering the issue but when I did it was obvious.
As the pocket door was slipping shut it would work flawlessly but when you went to open it the base of the door would stick out about an inch and a half passed the door jam. There is no method because it absolutely was at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing, to reach the screw.
This is the only thing I really could think of and would require a wall patch that is simple plus some paint to make the repair complete. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some fast setting drywall plaster to repair the wall. This took another hour to finish the drywall properly.
Some pocket door problems are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have problems falling and eventually are left shut, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the home over long periods of time can also cause the door to swell keeping it from opening properly.
