Johnson Pocket Door Hardware 2000 - Just a couple months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was closing at a weird angle. This is the very first time I'd ran into this sort of scenario and was definitely confused. I started looking in the pocket door frame and got a flashlight. I had trouble discovering the issue but when I did it was evident.
There is no approach as it was at that back of the pocket door frame near the framing to reach the screw.
As a way to correct the pocket door difficulty, I would have to remove a great sized area of the plastered wall at the upper right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. This is the sole thing I could think of and would require a straightforward wall patch and a few paint to really make the repair complete. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to fix the wall. This took another hour to finish the drywall properly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little easier to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have difficulties falling and eventually are left shut, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the thickness of the door or the door to swell keeping it from opening properly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the home over long amounts of time.
