Over The Door Storage Clear Pockets - Just a few months back I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting at a peculiar angle. It was the first time I'd ran into this type of situation and was undoubtedly confused. I got a torch and began looking in the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the issue but when I did it was clear.
As the pocket door was slipping closed it would work flawlessly but when you went to open it the bottom of the door would stick out about an inch and a half. The difficulty turned out to be the track was missing a screw in the rear so that as the door slid back to the framework the tracking would hang down at an angle in the weight of the door. There is not any method as it was at that very back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself, to reach the screw.
It was the sole thing I would require a wall patch that is simple and really could think of and a few paint to make the repair whole. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to mend the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little more easy to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have difficulties falling and eventually are left closed, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the depth of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time also can make the door to swell preventing it from opening properly.
