Pocket Doors For Bathrooms - Just a couple of months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting at a peculiar angle. This was the very first time I had ran into this type of scenario and was undoubtedly lost. I began looking inside the pocket door frame and got a flashlight. I had trouble finding the problem but when I did it was clear.
There is not any strategy to attain the screw as it had been at that back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself.
In order to fix the pocket door trouble, I was really going to have to remove an excellent sized area of the plastered wall at the top right hand corner of the pocket door frame. This was the only thing I really could think of and would require a wall patch that is simple and a few paint to help make the repair complete. This job took me to cut the hole and replaced the screw that had fallen out of the pocket door track. I then use some fast setting drywall plaster plus some fiberglass drywall tape to fix the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little easier to repair than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have troubles sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long periods of time may also make the doorway to swell preventing it from opening correctly.
