Pocket Door Adjustment Wrench - Just a couple months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting in a weird angle. This was the very first time I'd ran into this sort of scenario and was definitely lost. I got a torch and began looking inside the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the issue but when I did it was noticeable.
The bottom of the door would stick out about an inch and a half, as the pocket door was sliding shut it would work perfectly but when you went to open it. There clearly was not any method to attain the screw since it had been at that very back of the pocket door frame near the framing.
This was the sole thing I would require an easy wall patch and really could think of plus some paint to help make the repair complete. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to repair the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little more easy to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have troubles falling and eventually are left shut, never to be used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time may also make the door to swell preventing it from opening properly.
