Exterior Sliding Glass Pocket Doors - Just a couple months back I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting in a weird angle. This is the first time I had ran into this sort of scenario and was definitely lost. I got a torch and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the issue but when I did it was clear.
There is not any method to achieve the screw because it was at that back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself.
This is the only thing I would require a wall patch that is simple and could think of and some paint to really make the repair whole. I then use some fast setting drywall plaster and some fiberglass drywall tape to mend the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little easier to repair than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have troubles sliding and eventually are left closed, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can in fact add to the thickness of the door or the doorway to swell keeping it from opening properly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the home over long amounts of time.
