Motorized Pocket Door Kit - Just a couple months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was shutting at a peculiar angle. It was the very first time I'd ran into this type of scenario and was definitely confused. I got a torch and began looking within the pocket door frame. I had trouble finding the problem but when I did it was evident.
The bottom of the door would stick out about an inch and a half, as the pocket door was slipping shut it would work perfectly but when you went to open it. There was not any approach since it absolutely was at that very back of the pocket door frame near the framing itself to reach the screw.
It was the only real thing I really could think of and would require an easy wall patch and some paint to really make the repair whole. I then use some quick setting drywall plaster plus some fiberglass drywall tape to correct the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door difficulties are a little more easy to fix than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have difficulties falling and eventually are left shut, never to be used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the depth of the door or excessive moisture in the home over long amounts of time can also cause the door to swell preventing it from opening correctly.
