Double Pocket Door Kit - Just a couple of months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was shutting at a bizarre angle. This was the very first time I'd ran into this type of situation and was undoubtedly lost. I got a torch and began looking in the pocket door frame. I had difficulty finding the issue but when I did it was obvious.
There clearly was not any strategy as it absolutely was at that back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself, to attain the screw.
To be able to correct the pocket door trouble, I was really going to have to remove a good sized area of the plastered wall at the upper right hand corner of the pocket door frame. This was the sole thing I would require an easy wall patch and could think of and a few paint to help make the repair whole. This job took me about one hour to cut the hole and replaced the screw that had fallen out from the pocket door track. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to repair the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall properly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little more easy to fix than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have troubles falling and eventually are left closed, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the depth of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time can also make the doorway to swell keeping it from opening properly.
