White Glass Pocket Door - Just a few months back I went over to repair a pocket door that was shutting in a weird angle. This was the very first time I had ran into this type of situation and was undoubtedly lost. I got a flashlight and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had a hard time discovering the problem but when I did it was apparent.
As the pocket door was slipping shut it would work flawlessly but when you went to open it the bottom of the door would stick out about an inch and a half. There clearly was not any strategy because it absolutely was at that very back of the pocket door frame near the framing itself to reach the screw.
This was the only thing I would require a simple wall patch and really could think of plus some paint to make the repair whole. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to repair the wall. This took another hour in order to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door troubles are a little more easy to repair than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have troubles sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can in fact increase the thickness of the door or excessive moisture in the home over long amounts of time may also make the doorway to swell keeping it from opening correctly.
