Tv Cabinet With Pocket Doors - Just a few months ago I went over to repair a pocket door that was closing in a peculiar angle. This is the very first time I had ran into this sort of scenario and was undoubtedly confused. I got a torch and started looking in the pocket door frame. I had a hard time finding the issue but when I did it was noticeable.
As the pocket door was skidding closed it would work perfectly but when you went to open it the base of the door would stick out about an inch and a half. There clearly was no approach since it was at that back of the pocket door frame close to the framing itself to achieve the screw.
This is the only real thing I would require a wall patch that is simple and could think of plus some paint to really make the repair complete. Then I use some quick setting drywall plaster and some fiberglass drywall tape to correct the wall. This took another hour to complete the drywall correctly.
Some pocket door problems are a little more easy to repair than this one. Most pocket doors appeared to have problems sliding and eventually are left closed, never to be utilized again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually increase the thickness of the door or the doorway to swell preventing it from opening correctly can be also caused by excessive moisture in the home over long periods of time.
