Gun Safe Door Pistol Pockets - Just a few months ago I went over to fix a pocket door that was closing at a strange angle. It was the very first time I'd ran into this type of scenario and was definitely confused. I began looking within the pocket door frame and got a torch. I had difficulty discovering the problem but when I did it was apparent.

The trouble turned out to be the course was missing a screw in the rear so that as the door slid back into the frame the tracking would hang down at an angle in the weight of the doorway. There clearly was no strategy because it was at that very back of the pocket door frame near the framing to attain the screw.

As a way to correct the pocket door trouble, I was going to have to remove a good sized area of the plastered wall at the upper right-hand corner of the pocket door frame. It was the only real thing I would require a wall patch that is simple and really could think of and a few paint to help make the repair whole. Then I use some fiberglass drywall tape and some quick setting drywall plaster to correct the wall. This took another hour to finish the drywall properly.

Some pocket door problems are a little easier to fix than this one. Most pocket doors seemed to have problems sliding and eventually are left shut, never to be properly used again. Painting the doors over and over again can actually add to the depth of the door or excessive moisture in the house over long amounts of time can also make the doorway to swell keeping it from opening properly.
